Downloading & Installing
Because Battlefield 1942 is now considered freeware, we have linked the Download to a file that has the entire Battlefield 1942 game, along with it's official mods.Click on the Download button near the top right-hand side of the page and you'll be taken to a site to download the game. Once downloaded, you will need to extract it using WinRAR or 7zip.
Once extracted, go into the folder it has made and look for the "setup.exe" file. Launch it and install as a normal program. It will automatically generate a CD Key for you and apply it, so you needn't worry about that.
One the installation is completed, you will need to use the gamespy patch. Please click here to visit the resource and it's relevant guide. Once you have completed the gamespy patch, you are finished setup and can go straight to the battlefield!
