4 map - Saigon 1968​


There will be 2 version of that map - default with improvements and Tunnels only(sewers)


Default version with improvements​



Most lovely map by old players of our comminity - map differs from the rest that it has 2 levels for battles - ground and underground in the sewers. (Cedar falls also have it).

List of changes for Saigon 1968

• Added Assault Huey to USA team on palace building to counteract NVA mi8
• Added Miniguns
• Added AA Vehicles (nancy and ZSU)
• Added some new vehicles like PT76, BTR60 and Zippo

Tunnels only​



In these version all flags and spawn points moved to the sewers. all rests(vehicle spawns) was deleted. All exits from tunnels deleted and marked as outside map - so if try leave these area - you will be punished )
No step back!!!
Now minimap looks like that

Periodically or at the players request, maps will be changed between, so that there would be more variety​


Provided next changes to SAIGON 1968 Tunnel only


All flags captured from game start - teams have 3 flags each(located in different map places for more chances to spread forces)
Removed kits contain mortars (replaced by adjacent kit)
Removed kit contain m79 (replaced by adjacent kit - law\m14)
Vietcong akms replaced by ak47 and rpg2 by rpg7

SAIGON TUNNELS VERSION
So we have already expirience on this map. and it very fun and players like


There only one thing that people complain - it is about mortars and maybe m79
So, how do you guys think - do we need remove mortars from this underground version? and maybe remove m79? to give more chances squeezed team?

Yes, remove M79/mortars or reduce its ammo to 1/4 for them. Replacing RPG-2 with RPG-7, AKMS with AK-47 and ammo with med boxes would be great too.

Yes, remove M79/mortars or reduce its ammo to 1/4 for them. Replacing RPG-2 with RPG-7, AKMS with AK-47 and ammo with med boxes would be great too.
unfortunately it is impossible to add boxes with weapons and first-aid kits, no, they will be if add them, but no one will see them, just in this new place where they will be, ammunition and health will be replenished. But we can try to do a double function for existing first-aid boxes and ammunition boxes, so that they do 2 actions: reammo and heal.

And in that case not so much variants for them: get new kit and give enemy some time until he spawn again or get dead enemy/teammate kit. Since for stuck team players dont live long, they will not feel problems with ammo.

The double ammo/health box is a great idea.

I meant replace all ammo boxes with med boxes, not creating new. This must help team that stuck at main flag, cause enemy team will be deal with no ammo. And in that case not so much variants for them: get new kit and give enemy some time until he spawn again or get dead enemy/teammate kit. Since for stuck team players dont live long, they will not feel problems with ammo.
with the frequency of which the respawn takes place and the distance between the flags - this is practically not important.
